appointment of Constables against the following
number of vacant posts in the Pay Band-II, i.e
Rs. 5200-20,200/, with Grade pay of respective
departments for unarmed branch of District
Executive Force, Special Branch, APRO, Fire &
Emergency Services, SDRF. AND for Delhi Police
in the PB-I of Govt. of India with admissible
allowances. The date and venue of Physical
Standard Test / Physical Efficiency Test and
Written Test would be intimated in due course of
time by email, SMS and various other means and
through the Assam Police website
( www.assampolice@gov.in ). Online applications
will be received with effect from 10-12-2015 .
The last date for receipt of applications will be
30-12-2015 Applications submitted or received
after the last date will not be entertained.

Nationality - Candidates must be Indian citizens,
ordinarily resident of Assam.
Age: 18 to 25 years as on 1st July of 2015 (i.e.
the candidate must be born on or before
01.07.1997 and after 01.07.1990).
Relaxation : Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5
years in respect of candidates belonging to SC,
ST(P) and ST(H) and 3 years in respect of
trained Home Guards who have served for
aperiod of 3(three) years or more. (Certificate to
this effect from competent authority will have to
be submitted).
Educational qualification: H.S. or Class XII
passed from a recognized Board or Council. In
case of candidates applying for the post of
Firemen and Emergency Rescuer in Fire &
Emergency Services, he / she should have
passed H.S. or Class XII in Science Stream.
However, the candidates applying for the posts
of Constable of Police (WO/WT) in APRO, he /
she should have passed H.S. or Class XII in
Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics as the combined subjects from a
recognized Board or Council.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :- Candidates whose
applications are found correct in all respect will
have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests
(PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). If any
candidate is found to have any physical
deformity as may be detected by the Medical
Officer present in the Selection Board, he/ she
will be debarred from participating in the other
tests.
HOW TO APPLY: Applications must be
submitted online through Assam Police website
www.assampolice.gov.in . No other forms of
application will be entertained. A helpdesk will be
opened at the office of Superintendent of Police
of each district to facilitate the online filling of
applications. All Candidates will have to appear
for their PST/PET & Written Test only from the
district under which their permanent Residential
address falls.

কাতি বিহু / কঙালি বিহু
বিহু অসমৰ জাতীয় উৎসৱ । বিহু তিনিটা
। বহাগ বিহু, কাতি বিহু আৰু মাঘ বিহু ।
অসমৰ প্ৰতিতো বিহু বিশেষকৈ খেতি
তথা কৃষিৰ লগত জড়িত । অসম কৃষি ভূমি
ৰাজ্য আৰু খেতি হিচাপে ধান খেতিৰ
লগত অসমৰ আছে এক নিবিড় সম্পৰ্ক ।
অসমীয়া দিনপঞ্জীৰ ৬ষ্ঠ তম মাহ আহিন,
আৰু এই আহিন মাহৰ সংক্ৰান্তিৰ দিনা
পতা হয় অসমীয়াৰ কাতি বিহু । কাতি
বিহুক কঙালী বিহু বুলিও কোৱা হয় ।
কঙালী বিহু কোৱাৰ কাৰণ হল কৃষি
ভূমি ৰাজ্য অসমত আগৰ দিনত এটা বছৰৰ
বাবে এবিধ খেতিয়ে কৰা হৈছিল
“শালি খেতি” । আৰু সেই শালি
খেতিৰ পৰা হোৱা শালি ধানৰ
দ্বাৰাই এটা বছৰৰ খাদ্য যোগাৰ কৰিব
লগীয়া হৈছিল । শালি খেতি
সাধাৰণতে আহাৰ-শাওণ মাহত ৰুৱা হয়
আৰু আঘোণ-পুহ মাহত চপোৱা হয় । শালি
ধান কটাৰ আগে আগে আহিন কাতি
মাহত প্ৰায় মানুহৰ বছৰৰ জমা ধান শেষ হয়
আৰু আৰ্থিক দুৰৱস্থাই কঙালী কৰে ।
সেয়েহে আহিন মাহৰ সংক্ৰান্তিৰ
দিনা ধান গছৰ তলত চাকি-বন্তি দি
সেৱা জনাই যাতে ধান ভালে কুশলে
আপদ-বিপদ নোহোৱাকৈ চপাব পাৰি ।
সেই কাৰণে সাধাৰণতে কাতি বিহু
পতা হয় । কাতি বিহুৰ দিনা তুলসীৰ
তলতে চাকি-বন্তি, বুট-মাহ প্ৰসাদৰ
সৈতে লক্ষি আইক আৰাধনা কৰা হয় ।
তুলসীৰ তলত চাকি দিয়াৰ উপৰিও ধান
খেতিত(আকাশ বন্তি) আৰু পদুলিৰ মুখৰ
লগতে ধানৰ ভঁৰালতো চাকি দি লক্ষি
আইৰ আগমনৰ কামনা কৰে । ধান খেতিত
দিয়া চাকিক আকাশ বন্তি বুলিও
কোৱা হয় । কাৰণ ধান খেতিত দিব
লগীয়া চাকি, এডাল দীঘল বাহৰ উপৰত
দিয়া হয় ।
বৰ্তমান এই বিশ্বায়ন কৰণৰ যোগত
পৰিবেশ প্ৰদূষণকে ধৰি শব্দ-প্ৰদূষণ,
বানপানী, ভূমিকম্প, আগ্নেয়গিৰি,
গাড়ী-মটৰ, কাৰখানা আদিৰ পৰা উলুৱা
ধূঁৱাই পৃথিৱীৰ পৰিবেশ বিনষ্ট কৰিছে ।
আৰু জনসংখ্যাও দ্ৰুতগতিত বৃদ্ধি হোৱাৰ
বাবে এবিধ খেতি তথা শালি ধানৰ
দ্বাৰা মানুহৰ এটা বছৰৰ খাদ্য উৎপাদন
কৰিব নোৱাৰা হৈছে । সেয়েহে
অসমৰ কেইটামান পৰিয়ালে আৰম্ভ
কৰিছিল বড়ো খেতি বুলি ধানৰে
এবিধ খেতি । শালি ধানৰ চপোৱাৰ
পিছতে বড়ো খেতি কৰা হয় । বড়ো
খেতি ৰুৱা হয় পুহৰ শেষৰ ফালে বা মাঘ
মাহৰ প্ৰথমতে আৰু এই বড়ো খেতি
চপোৱা হয় চ’ত-বহাগ মাহত । শালি
ধানৰ লগতে বড়ো ধানেও মিলি এই
বিশ্বায়ন কৰণৰ যোগত মানুহক বছৰ যোৰা
খাদ্য আগবঢ়াবলৈ সক্ষম হৈছে । অসমৰ
বিহু খেতি তথা কৃষিৰ লগত বিশেষ
ভাৱে জড়িত । খেতিৰ লগত সংযোগ
ৰাখিয়ে অসমৰ জাতীয় উৎসৱ বিহু পতা
হয় ।

হেচি ধৰে।
অভিজ্ঞ লোকে কোৱা মতে এইবিধৰ
গাত এটা বেয়া গোন্ধ থাকে,ভালুকৰ
দৰে নোমাল।
2. পৰীঃ- এইবিধ বৰ ধুনীয়া মাইকী ভুত।
ডেকা ল'ৰাক আক্ৰমণ কৰে। এইবিধে
এনেকুৱা প্ৰেমত পেলাই লয় যে
আক্ৰান্তজনে তাইৰ লগতে কথা পাতি
থাকে,অকলে অকলে নিজানত গৈ

The unusual couple, Abani Koch and Selly, met on

close and bonded really well. Abani fell in love
with Selly and confessed this to her. When he
